The City of Bothell is now recruiting for a Long-Range Senior Planner in our Community Development Department! The incumbent will perform complex strategic planning work involving sub-area plans, buildable lands, and code amendments.
The Community Development Department consists of the Strategic Planning, Development Review, Administrative, Code Compliance, and Building and Permit Services divisions. As part of the Bothell Strategic Planning Division, you will work in collaboration with other City departments/divisions; stakeholders and other agencies and jurisdictions.
The Strategic Planning team is comprised of two long-range senior planners, a historic preservation consultant and the department director. While it is a small team, it is at the forefront of many of the key issues Bothell is facing (e.g. rapid growth, affordable housing, downtown redevelopment). Our team is passionate about our work; dedicated to helping Bothell realize its vision; and committed to a collaborative and positive work environment. If you share these values, have excellent writing and project management skills, and a sense of humor, we would like to hear from you!
