MANSFIELD - In an attempt to provide a clear and unambiguous recommendation, a local city planner earned himself a promotion. "It's all really been just a blur," said now Senior Planner Rufus Michaels, "I literally had no opinion whatsoever on the request." Michaels is referring to the recent request to change the zoning from Single-Family Residential (RES1-12) to Single-Family Residential (RES1-10). "I've got a lot on my plate, getting into the nitty gritty of the impact of 2,000 square feet of residential zoning is not going to be one of them." The zone change would allow for the addition of one additional residential lot within the Shadow Ridge development. Michaels added, "now if they were asking for RES1-9, I might take a closer look at it and actually GAF, maybe two."
