Director of Planning and Development - University City, MO
Annual salary range: $85,273 to $108,517

University City, MO is an inner-ring suburb of 35,000 residents in the St. Louis metropolitan area. Historic homes and established neighborhoods add character to the community while newer condominiums and rebuilds bring a renewed atmosphere. City leadership is seeking to strengthen this foundation and drive progress forward through the recruitment of new Director of Planning and Development. The successful candidate will oversee a staff of 15 and a budget of $1.8 million, which encompasses the Code Enforcement, Building Inspections, and Planning and Zoning division.
A Bachelor’s degree is required and a Master’s degree is desirable along with AICP certification. Candidates should have at least eight years of experience, five of which were at a supervisory level.
