Salary:$105,000.00 - $115,000.00 (Yearly Salary)
The City seeks a creative, visionary municipal professional with an outgoing personality, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a commitment to customer service excellence to be its next Development Services Director. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field such as urban planning, political science, public administration, or a similar discipline is required; a master’s degree is strongly preferred. The selected candidate must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the municipal planning environment or the municipal regulatory environment and a minimum of three (3) years of increasing administrative and supervisory responsibility. The candidate must be bondable. American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) credentialing is preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with Flood Manager Certification by a state or national organization. A valid Texas Class C Driver’s License is required. The City of Taylor offers a starting salary range between $105,000-$115,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
