Salary: $83,345.60 to $102,252.80

The City of Palo Alto is looking for candidates to fill positions in both Current and Long-Range Planning. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professional planners on a variety of interesting planning projects such as the Stanford Research Park and community planning efforts for mixed use neighborhoods such as the North Ventura Coordinated Plan; tackle the challenging demand for more affordable housing projects; and collaborate with other local agencies on regional housing and other issues.
A Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Environmental Studies, or a related field from an accredited college or university is required along with two years of related experience in urban, conservation, or transportation planning (such as professional level urban planning experience, or experience working at a public counter explaining planning or building ordinances and procedures or collecting data and providing technical assistance to professional planners in the field).
